Childhood Redefined

Feedback

Here’s what previous Summit attendees have to say about their experience!

“I must say it was SO WONDERFUL to have been at this Summit!!! I feel like I have drunk from a fountain (or even a fire hose, lol!) this weekend and been refreshed….with words and concepts that I “know,” but need a reminder of sometimes, like an shot-in-the arm booster!!! And man, do I feel boosted!”
~ Tina Bragdon
“I feel like I’ve got a secret inside of me that makes me sweeter.”
~ Deanna Buck
“I would absolutely recommend this summit to others. This one was a class act. Professional, organized and lead by people who have earned my respect and trust.”
~ Monica Isreal
“Today I had the pleasure of being in a room with the bravest, most loving women (and 2 men). Ahead of their time, I learned so much in those 7 hours. Anne and Pam are so inspiring and so damn great at telling the truth in a way that feels like healing! Thank you, Childhood Redefined!!!”
~ Sara Tro
“I feel like what I gained from this weekend will powerfully and joyfully impact the rest of my life and the lives of everyone around me!!!!”
~ Lauren Seaver
“You guys are always inspirational, and inspiration helps on the journey. I love the messages and I am bolstered to know that my trajectory is correct.”
~ Teri DeMarco
“I feel so much more confidence in our decision to embrace unschooling. And, like a ripple effect, the past decisions we’ve made in parenting actually seem like the right decisions instead of feeling doubtful, if that makes sense.”
~ Joanne Crofts
“Calling it a Summit seemed sort of odd to me before we started. Now that I have had this experience, I feel that it is the MOST appropriate word! It was a journey to an incredibly high place. What I saw from that vantage point will forever shape the way I view my life and my relationship with my children. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
~ Sarah Peshek
“Having recently been to other conferences, I am really interested in the huge difference in energy that you bring. The connections I have from Shine, and ones I made at this group are so full of love, acceptance and celebration. I always come away from your conferences feeling loved and cared for and validated. I have come away with friends and ideas from other conferences, but it just doesn’t compare to this. Thank you, receiving this gift myself reminds me how powerful it is, how energizing it is, how important it is. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
~ Jody Lilley
“I figured I knew lots about unschooling, and I can’t even remember if you talked that much about unschooling. It was so much more.”
~ Shelly House
“I had an amazing time at this summit. The connections.. the people.. The location… Ohhhh I was filled with joy and gratitude.. Thank you Pam and Anne for creating a wonderful space.”
~ Racquel Lopez
“Not having my children there really allowed me to focus on the ideas of the conference and let them have some alone time with their dad. I also liked the balance of Anne’s more philosophical approach and Pam’s more practical approach. It made it possible to see how ideas could be put into practice.”
~ Cynthia Culbert
“As a pretty introverted person and being mom to a fairly introverted child as well, it can feel at times like how we’re living is somewhat inconsequential beyond our little family – in the “creating a cultural shift” kind of way. Attending the Summit helped me to see that my family adds to the web (and power) of healthy relationships and attachment we are all creating as radical unschoolers. It made me hopeful that we can create a better world for all of us.”
~ Maria Garuti
“I feel in total awe that living our lives the way we do is totally accepted and not only accepted but also lived by many other families. We are just living, we are following our joy…and they call that unschooling and it is allowed! I thought what I was doing was slacking and lazy and I felt a lot of guilt and pressure from society and especially from family….until I came to the summit and found a bunch of other families living the same way as us! Not only did these families proclaim that they live this way but they celebrate it. I feel as if I am living a fairy tale and that all my dreams are coming true. We are so conditioned by society to believe that we must suffer in order to get anywhere in life…that life is NOT easy…that life is NOT fair. I recently learned how untrue all of that training and conditioning is….that conditioning that is meant to hold us down and keep us all stuffed into a little box where we can be controlled and profited from. I’ve learned that life is anything that you want it to be, and all you have to do is follow your joy. Nothing else matters and you should not accept anything less.”
